Information about Moment Group’s Processing of Personal Data
MOMENT GROUP values your privacy. We therefore strive to always protect your personal data in the best possible way and comply with applicable data protection regulations. Through this privacy policy, we want to inform you about how your personal data is processed by MOMENT GROUP and its subsidiaries*, venues*, and partners (hereinafter referred to as MG).
*Current companies and venues include 2Entertain AB, Ballbreaker, China Teatern, Cirkusbygningen, Golden Hits, Hamburger Börs, Hansen, Intiman, KPH Matbar, Kungsportshuset, Ladies Night, Lisebergsteatern, Minnesota Communication, Oscarsteatern, Showtic, The Theatre, Vallarnas Friluftsteater, Wallmans Stockholm, and Wallmans Oslo, but this may change.
Processing of Personal Data
Personal data you have provided to us
When you have given your consent to MG, you will provide certain information about yourself to us, and you will also provide information during purchases and other contacts with us (e.g., customer service). You may also provide information to us for other reasons.
Personal data we have collected from you
When you shop with MG, visit one of MG’s websites, or otherwise interact with us, we collect your personal data. MG processes information about the products you have purchased, clicked on, or added to your shopping cart on any of MG’s websites. We also process information about your purchase history, purchasing patterns, and preferences as a customer with us. We also process IP address, language settings, geographic information, and other data we receive in connection with your visit to MG’s websites.
Personal data we have collected from third parties
To maintain good customer and register care, MG uses an accredited provider for automatic retrieval and updating of your personal data from the population register.
Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing Your Personal Data
MG may process your data either because you consent to it or because it is required by, for example, law or regulation. Giving consent to the processing of personal data is entirely voluntary and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
For the following purposes, we process your personal data if you have consented to it:
- To send newsletters and other marketing to you.
- To improve our communication, service, products, and services.
- To keep our customer records updated with the current address via your personal identification number.
- To adapt MG’s websites to your behavior and preferences.
Direct Marketing
If you consent to it, MG will process your personal data for marketing purposes. Your data may be used for direct marketing, newsletters, customer surveys, and statistical purposes, and may be used for mailings via post, email, SMS, and other digital channels until you withdraw your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting customer service or through the unsubscribe link in emails and newsletters. We follow the Marketing Act’s guidelines regarding advertising to children.
Profiling
If you consent to it, MG will process your personal data to analyze your purchase history, purchasing behavior, and behavior on the subsidiaries’ websites to gain more knowledge about you as a customer and our customers in general and to improve our offers (profiling). For the same purposes, we may also process any personal wishes or preferences you have provided to us, such as information that you have children or are interested in a particular category of goods. We do this by analyzing which purchases you have made in the past and which products you have viewed or added to the shopping cart. Based on this information, we communicate targeted messages to you.
For the following purposes, we process your personal data to fulfill a legal obligation:
- To provide you with information about your purchases on MG’s websites, such as order confirmations, delivery information, etc.
- To deliver your purchases on MG’s websites or at a physical point of sale to your specified address.
- To be able to charge for your purchases if you have chosen to pay by invoice.
- To be able to offer digital receipts for your purchases.
- To fulfill requirements under, for example, the Accounting Act and the Consumer Purchase Act.
- To fulfill our agreement or meet our commitments to you.
Who May Have Access to Your Personal Data?
Your personal data may be shared with entities that process personal data on our behalf, known as data processors. We disclose your personal data to the following:
Other companies within MG. As MG is an international company, some of your personal data may be disclosed to companies in the group operating in other countries.
Providers of IT systems and their partners in development and support. These companies provide services, technical solutions, and platforms for MG’s customer relationship work.
Providers of address data. MG uses an accredited provider for automatic retrieval and updating of your address data from the population register.
Payment processing partners. To handle payments made by MG’s customers, we use providers to ensure secure payment solutions.
Other partners. As an MG customer, we also want to offer you benefits with some of our partners. This means that to give you the opportunity to use offers and benefits with them, we may need to share some of your personal data, such as name, email, and mobile number. Offers in collaboration with external partners will only be sent by subsidiaries/partners to MG and the personal data provided to partners is used solely for you to be able to identify yourself as an MG customer.
Transfer of Personal Data to Third Countries
As a general rule, we and our suppliers and partners process your personal data within the EU/EEA. When personal data is processed outside the EU/EEA, there is either a decision by the Commission that the third country in question ensures an adequate level of protection, or appropriate safeguards that ensure your rights are protected. We transfer personal data to the USA based on the EU Commission’s clauses on permitted transfers to third countries. How Long Do We Store Your Personal Data?
We never process your personal data for longer than is permitted under applicable law, regulation, practice, or government decision. Data may, for example, be stored longer if required under the Consumer Purchase Act or the Accounting Act. Personal data is stored and processed in MG’s IT systems. Data related to your purchases is stored for 36 months with consent, otherwise for 12 months after the event has taken place.
You can contact us at any time to withdraw your consent and request that we delete your personal data.
Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to access information about the personal data we process about you and to request rectification of your personal data.
Under certain conditions, such as if you withdraw your consent, object to our processing, or believe that the processing is not necessary for the specified purposes, you also have the right to request deletion or restriction of your personal data or object to our processing. Under certain conditions, you also have the right to obtain the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and have the right to transfer this data to another data controller.
You have the right to withdraw all or part of a given consent to the processing of personal data at any time, with effect from the time of withdrawal. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing and profiling at any time.
All communication and actions that MG takes due to your rights are provided free of charge. MG reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee covering administrative costs for providing the information or taking the requested action, or to refuse to comply with the request in the case of manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
If you have any complaints regarding our processing of your personal data, you have the right to file a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority overseeing companies’ handling of personal data.
